Holliday Creek Ranch lies 3 miles southwest of Wichita Falls, Texas in Archer County. The ranch
is divided by Holliday Creek which is a tributary of the Wichita River that feeds into Lake
Wichita. The property is easily accessed from FM 2650.
With Holliday Creek meandering through the property there are pockets of water held along
this tributary most of the time. All of this property lies within the floodplain. With water being of
necessity to wildlife this environment along the creek is great habitat not only for waterfowl,
but other wildlife as well. When Lake Wichita levels are at full pool, the property is lakefront.
With the water held along Holliday Creek and the environment this has created this property is
very well suited to be a waterfowl hunters dream. With the rising of water in the rainy season
and the receding of water through the dry times this provides feeding and loafing areas for
waterfowl. There is also a variety of trees that provide feed and cover. Not only does the
marshy environment along the creek provide habitat for waterfowl, but it also creates a haven for
wild hogs as well. There are Whitetail deer that use this property as well.
